Because he is considered a Master, a Great teacher. Dhankinamoorthy - A form of shiva with his 7 disciples. Dattatreya - A combined form of shiva, vishnu and bhramma. He is also a great teacher. who taught us to live with all life forms. He had 24 nature gurus who taught him ever. On Wednesday we worship Mercury God, Ganesha, Vittal, Green Colour, Yellow Colour, White Colour. Mercury God and Lord Ganesha worship ends the suffering of people and fulfils the wishes of devotees. Monday being day of the moon, I write down my thoughts on "Om karam Bindhu Samyuktam", to remember, rejoice the somanathan, the shiva. "Om karam Bindhu Samyuktam" is a stotram from rudrayamla. A stotram is something which has to be repeated until we get lost into it. Om Na Ma Shi Va Ya - 6 letter mantra, shadakshara mantra. For each Aksharam, we have a couplet. In the first couplet, it speaks about how Omkaram & concentrating on it daily at our bindhi relieves one from kama and leads to moksha and it praises Omkaram.
